German company Quantum Systems has unveiled the PULSE P19, a new multi-mission aircraft developed for surveillance, reconnaissance, and drone interception operations.
According to information shared by the Ukrainian outlet Militarnyi, the new platform was revealed during ILA Berlin 2026 and marks the company’s entry into a higher category of medium-altitude aircraft.
Designed to operate either with or without a pilot, the PULSE P19 was developed in response to lessons learned from the war in Ukraine and other recent conflicts, which have demonstrated the growing vulnerability of traditional MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) drones to modern air defense systems.

According to Quantum Systems, the new platform offers higher speed, significant payload capacity, and more competitive operating costs compared to conventional unmanned aircraft. The company says the aircraft was designed to detect, track, and neutralize aerial threats, particularly drone swarms.
The aircraft will also be capable of carrying advanced sensors, radars, and interceptors dedicated to counter-drone missions. According to information released during the exhibition, the PULSE P19 is expected to carry up to 12 interceptors, along with active and passive detection systems capable of locating long-range aerial targets.
Another key feature is its integration with the MOSAIC UXS ecosystem, Quantum Systems’ command-and-control platform. This connection enables the aircraft to operate alongside ground and aerial systems, enhancing cooperation between manned and unmanned platforms in reconnaissance and strike missions.

The unveiling of the PULSE P19 also highlights a strategic shift for the German company, previously known primarily for its tactical reconnaissance drones. With this new program, Quantum Systems is moving into market segments traditionally dominated by major military aircraft and combat systems manufacturers.
According to the company, the aircraft’s development was heavily influenced by operational experience gained in Ukraine, where Quantum Systems drones have been employed in reconnaissance missions since the early years of the conflict.
