Last year, the base price of the Taycan was around $92,000 and increased to $101,395 for the 2025 model year, marking an increase of $8,845.
While the 4S has increased to $120,495, the Turbo and Turbo S now start at $175,595 and $210,995, respectively.
The wagon variations of the Taycan followed a similar pattern. The Taycan 4 Cross Turismo now starts at $113,095, the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo at $127,195, the Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo at $178,295, and the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo at $213,695.
The price increases of the 2025 lineup are justified by the more powerful battery and the updated display. Additionally, there is a new push-to-pass feature included in the Sport Chrono package that offers a power boost of up to 70 kilowatts for 10 seconds.
For the Taycan Turbo S, this means an increase of 140 kW when using the Launch Control feature, bringing the maximum power to 938 horsepower.
Regarding the battery, according to Car and Driver, who test drove the Taycan 2025 prototype in California, it drove for 500 km before stopping, with the car showing a charge status of 8%.
Additionally, they were able to charge the test vehicle from 8 to 80 percent in less than 17 minutes, with a peak charging rate of 327 kW.
Deliveries of the Taycan 2025 sedans are scheduled to begin mid-year, with the Cross Turismo variants expected to arrive in the third quarter of 2024.
