Poland will test its own military equipment, including drones, on the Ukrainian front line to gain real combat experience.
The announcement was made by Poland’s Deputy Minister of Defence, Cezary Tomczyk, in an interview with the PAP news agency, according to a report by Defense24.
According to him, Polish weapons will be tested under combat conditions after completing trials at testing facilities in Poland.
At the same time, a second focus will be the active exchange of technologies and the strengthening of the industrial potential of both countries, such as WB Electronics, a Polish company cited by Tomczyk as an example of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.
This comes after Poland and Ukraine announced a joint project to create a so-called “drone fleet,” aimed at combining Polish funding with Ukrainian experience. They also plan to involve the European Defence Fund in the project.
