Using the STLA Medium platform, Peugeot can offer both a mild-hybrid model and an electric one from the start, with a plug-in hybrid to follow.

The exterior design is similar to that of the e-3008, but the e-5008 has a more vertical rear to accommodate two extra seats. Inside, the e-5008 shares features with the e-3008, including a wraparound instrument panel and a large central display.

The infotainment system is Peugeot’s new i-Connect Advanced, with ChatGPT-enabled voice assistant and support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Three electric powertrain options are available: Electric 210, Electric 230 Long Range, and Electric 320 Dual Motor. Additionally, there is a gasoline version with a 134hp mild-hybrid engine and a plug-in hybrid option scheduled for 2025.

The trunk offers 259 liters with all seats in use, 748 liters with five seats, and 1815 liters with all seats folded down. Sales of the e-5008 and the hybrid 5008 are expected to begin in the fall of 2024, while the plug-in version will be launched in 2025.
