The Ferrari F40, an automotive icon created under the supervision of Enzo Ferrari, is considered one of the most beautiful and desired machines, but also notoriously difficult to drive.

With its unpredictable turbo and lack of electronics, the F40 requires absolute control from the driver. A recent accident involving the F40 of Formula 1 driver Lando Norris in Monaco highlighted these challenges, prompting Officine Fioravanti, a company specializing in restomods of exotic cars, to develop an improved version called the Ferrari F40 Alte Prestazioni.

The main focus of this new model is to make the F40 easier to drive without losing its essence and exceptional performance. To achieve this, Officine Fioravanti added an adjustable Öhlins TTX 36 suspension and an upgraded braking system with carbon-ceramic discs and Brembo calipers.

Additionally, the steering was updated with electric hydraulic assistance, making vehicle control more accessible without compromising precision.

Visually, the F40 Alte Prestazioni maintains Ferrari’s classic style but with larger, centrally designed wheels, now 18 inches in the front and 19 inches in the rear. Michelin Cup 2 or Pirelli P Zero tires ensure better performance.

In summary, Officine Fioravanti has successfully modernized the F40, making it safer and more usable without losing what makes it a true masterpiece of automotive engineering.
