During the 2026 Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan revealed that its Z sports car will receive a redesigned look for the 2027 model year.
Compared to the 2023 model, Nissan did not make very drastic changes. Instead, it appears the Japanese automaker focused on small design details to give the vehicle a more refined appearance.

The most significant changes are at the front, where the large, square grille has been replaced by a more simplified and subtle design reminiscent of the 2024 Z Heritage Edition, but with smoother integration.
The narrow upper section features slim bars and is separated from the larger lower grille by a body-colored strip. The rear remains unchanged, except for the removal of the spoiler.

The Z 2027 also receives new 19-inch wheels with black spokes accented by a chrome rim. From the photos, it is possible to see that a new luxurious shade of green, Unryu Green, will be added to the color palette.
Inside, updates are minimal. The only notable change introduced by Nissan for the Z 2027 is the addition of a new tan leather option.

Although Nissan has not yet released official details about the new Z, reports from Japan indicate some minor mechanical changes. More information should be announced soon, considering that the Z 2027 is expected to launch in Japan later this year.
