Formula E returns to the United States for its third visit to Florida, this time at the Miami International Autodrome, and the Nissan Formula E Team has announced that Abbi Pulling and Gabriele Minì will take part in the Rookie Free Practice (FP0) session of the weekend.

With the unprecedented release of two cars in FP0, the Japanese team decided to make the most of the extra track time to prepare for Formula E’s first race at the Miami circuit, while also expanding development work with both drivers. Each will gain additional mileage at the wheel of the Nissan e-4ORCE 05, collecting data and experience with the GEN3 Evo package.

Proven experience of Abbi Pulling

Nissan’s development and simulator driver, Pulling arrives with extensive experience in the GEN3 Evo. The 22-year-old Brit took part in both women’s tests in the championship, finishing the sessions in first and second place, and also completed last year’s Berlin Rookie Test, where she logged 98 laps on the former Tempelhof Airport layout.

Familiar with the Miami International Autodrome, Pulling also boasts strong results at the venue, where she claimed two victories on her way to the 2024 F1 Academy title. Ongoing simulator work and attendance at several race weekends have directly contributed to the team’s recent development.

Return of Gabriele Minì

Italian driver Gabriele Minì, 20, returns to the Nissan structure through the partnership with Alpine Racing. Minì had already stood out in the Season 10 Rookie Test, FP0 in Jeddah and, more recently, topped both sessions of the Berlin Rookie Test.
Alongside this, the driver enjoyed a solid rookie season in Formula 2 in 2025, with podiums in Monaco, Silverstone and Abu Dhabi, and is confirmed to return to the category in 2026.

Pulling and Minì have already worked together at the Berlin Rookie Test and will share the track once again in Rookie Free Practice, a 40-minute session scheduled for Friday, January 30, at 2:30 pm (local time, UTC-5). The activity officially opens the weekend that will culminate in Formula E’s first race at the Miami International Autodrome.
