Security cameras captured the moment Ahmad Ladson, a 32-year-old cleaning worker, was crushed by a car driver while working in the Bronx area of New York City.
The frightening footage shows Ladson being hit from behind by a Toyota Highlander SUV. The worker was pinned between the car and the cleaning truck, suffering severe fractures to both legs.
The driver of the Toyota, a 40-year-old woman, got out of the car to assist Ladson. He was helped by several pedestrians and a coworker.
Ladson suffered open fractures in both legs and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was admitted in critical condition, according to the police and sources.
The driver has not been charged, and the police are still investigating the case. A GoFundMe page has been created to raise funds to assist with Ladson’s treatment. He is a father of three children.
