Developed by Collins Aerospace and Panasonic Avionics, the seat syncs with passengers’ personal devices, providing an immersive entertainment experience.

The concept was well received at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany, being considered a major advancement in premium travel experience.

The screen of MAYA, three times larger than traditional business class options, is described as the “cinematic center” of the design, supporting the Ultra-Widescreen CinemaScope format (21:9), common in theaters. In addition to watching movies, passengers will be able to use the screen for meal orders, map viewing, and connecting with their own devices.

Despite being a concept in development, with specifications and production processes yet to be defined, the team is confident in MAYA’s potential. The screen is designed to be upgradable over time, ensuring its relevance in a rapidly evolving technological world.
