TKH Technology Poland has carried out the first flight tests of the MTJD-15, a turbojet drone developed entirely in the country, including the aircraft design and its own engine.
Poland has taken an important step in the development of jet-powered drones with the flight tests of the MTJD-15, a turbojet aircraft created by TKH Technology Poland. According to the company, the model was developed entirely in the country, from the first sketches to the construction of its own engine.
TKH released a video of the tests on the social network X, showing the platform’s initial performance. The MTJD-15 is presented as the first member of a family of three modular turbojet drones, developed by a team of Polish engineers in collaboration with TOP GUN.

According to the specialized website Milmag, the modular design allows the platform to be quickly adapted for different types of missions. Possible applications include reconnaissance with various sensors, equipment transport, delivery of medical supplies and military operations.
The MTJD-15 has a declared range of up to 1,000 kilometers, a flight ceiling of 13,000 meters and a weight of 45 kilograms. The aircraft can carry a payload of more than 15 kilograms, with a wingspan of 2.4 meters and a length of 3.2 meters.
In terms of performance, the drone can reach a cruising speed of more than 576 km/h at maximum altitude. At sea level, the declared speed exceeds 624 km/h, placing the model in a high-performance category for uncrewed platforms of this size.
The MTJD family also includes more robust versions. The MTJD-70 was developed for higher speed and the transport of heavier payloads, with a capacity of up to 70 kilograms, a range of more than 800 kilometers, an approximate speed of 900 km/h and a ceiling of 13,000 meters.

The MTJD-100, meanwhile, is described as the most powerful version in the line. According to the information released, the model can reach around 2,440 km/h, carry a payload of more than 100 kilograms, fly more than 1,000 kilometers and operate at altitudes of up to 15,000 meters.
TKH says the MTJD production line will be able to manufacture around one thousand drones per year. The company is also preparing to expand its infrastructure, amid expectations of rising demand for high-speed uncrewed aerial solutions.
