Mitsubishi Starion undergoes revitalization after 12 years abandoned (YouTube / WD Detailing)
An old Mitsubishi Starion, a classic sports car from the 1980s, emerges from its 12-year-long rest to receive a much-needed revitalization.
Forgotten in a garage, the car was covered in dust and mold, but the ‘WD Detailing’ team decided to fully restore it.
Molds had taken over the interior, requiring meticulous cleaning that included removing the front seats and an intense cleaning session. With masks and determination, the team managed to remove all the mold stains, returning the Starion to its original appearance.
The exterior of the vehicle did not escape the neglect of the years. The team started with a rinse followed by a deep wash and polish, restoring the car’s shine and elegance.
After all the hard work, the Starion looked as if it had just come out of the factory, leaving its owner, a parts supplier for Starion enthusiasts, impressed with the result. With his knowledge and resources, he likely won’t have trouble returning the car to its former glory on the roads.
