Have you ever done something absurd just out of spite? In Austria, a young millionaire decided to lift his Ferrari and place it on his balcony while facing a dispute over a parking spot in his building.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the owner of a Ferrari 296 GTB had requested an additional parking spot in his condominium to park the car during the winter.
However, his request was denied. Naturally, the 28-year-old man decided to hire a crane to lift the luxury vehicle and place it on the balcony of his apartment.
Amar Dezic, who owns an auto parts business in Vienna, documented the process on his TikTok profile. Since he couldn’t get the parking spot, placing it on his balcony would protect his sports car from the snow.
It was the perfect plan, but it didn’t last long. A week later, construction inspectors ordered the Ferrari to be removed from the balcony, citing fire safety as their main concern.
As a result, the crane had to return to the apartment to remove the Ferrari from the balcony. Now, Dezic explained that he will store the car in his company’s warehouse until the weather improves and he can get it back on the streets.
