Mercedes-AMG revealed a special edition of the GT63 called the APXGP Edition, created in homage to the fictional team from the highly anticipated F1 movie starring Brad Pitt.

Limited to only 52 units worldwide, this version is inspired by the look of the cars from the movie, featuring a matte black paint job with metallic gold details, such as checkered flag graphics, 21-inch wheels, and exclusive emblems.

The model was unveiled before the Miami Grand Prix as part of Mercedes’ collaboration with the film production.

Inside, the car maintains the exclusive theme, with black Nappa leather and suede seats, golden stitching, carbon fiber finishes with threads in the same color, and personalized details like illuminated door sills and embroidered floor mats with the APXGP name.

Equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine delivering 577 hp and all-wheel drive, the model also includes a Burmester premium sound system, track telemetry, and a carbon fiber aerodynamic package, ensuring a luxurious and sporty experience.

The F1 movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski, was filmed at real Formula 1 events for maximum realism. Brad Pitt plays a former driver who returns to racing alongside a young talent, portrayed by Damson Idris. The cast also includes Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon, and the movie will be released in North American theaters on June 27.

In addition to the special edition, Mercedes also provided real vehicles and contributed to the visual creation of the fictional race cars for the film.
