Mercedes-AMG has officially unveiled the GT Track Sport, a high-performance conceptual version of the AMG GT coupe, developed with a focus on tracks and possible record-breaking runs, especially at Nürburgring.

Equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine, the model promises to take the GT family to new heights, although technical specifications have not yet been revealed.

Despite being camouflaged, striking aerodynamic elements are already noticeable, such as a large front splitter and a raised rear wing, typical features of race cars. With this, the Track Sport is expected to abandon the traditional 2+2 layout and adopt a two-seat configuration, directly targeting rivals like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Although Mercedes-AMG classifies the car as a concept, all indications are that it will be produced in the future, as it was presented as a “glimpse of the future” of the lineup.

It is not yet clear if the model will be homologated for street use, but brand fans hope it will go beyond the circuits and also hit urban roads.
