A special mechanical bull inspired by the Hemi V8 engine from Ram was stolen last weekend during an event in Michigan, USA.
The incident took place on the night of last Saturday (9) when the bull, named Protest Symbol, was being disassembled after a Roadkill Nights event in the southwestern part of the state.
After the theft, Ram filed a report with local authorities. Speaking to Motor1, a spokesperson for the brand made it clear that this was not a marketing stunt, but rather a plea for the public to stay vigilant.
The manufacturer even made a poster asking for information. “The search has officially started, and we won’t stop until we get it back,” said CEO Tim Kuniskis in a statement.

“Ram is actively working with the authorities and appreciates any information about the whereabouts of the stolen [item]. Anyone with a lead can contact local authorities or directly reach out to Ram,” the brand said in a statement.
The mechanical bull Bucking Hemi was initially announced as part of a major marketing campaign for the return of the Hemi engine in the Ram 1500.
Part of this campaign included the Protest Symbol, a ram’s head mounted at the front of the Hemi engine block. Ram didn’t even have time to take photos of the machine before it was taken.
