McLaren has launched the JC96, a limited edition of the 750S in tribute to the brand’s participation in the 1996 All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship, when the team won the Drivers’ title with the McLaren F1 GTR.

Only 61 units will be produced, exclusively for customers in Japan, each featuring the exclusive “Tiger Stripe” livery and interior and exterior details inspired by the original race car.

On the outside, the JC96 features unique elements on the front splitter, rear wing, and mirrors, along with ultralight 15-spoke alloy wheels. Customers will be able to choose from colors such as Memphis Red, Titanium Silver, Ice White, and Graphite Grey, or opt for bespoke shades through McLaren’s paint program. Gloss black accents, gold brake calipers, and an Alcantara interior with “JC96” embroidery complete the sophisticated look.

The model will be offered in both coupe and Spider versions, with the convertible able to receive the High Downforce Kit, increasing downforce by up to 10% compared to the standard 750S. The car retains the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 740 hp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, reaching up to 206 mph (332 km/h). Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026, with no exact date confirmed.
