Available in both soft-top and RF hard-top versions, the models come exclusively in Artisan Red, with 16 and 17-inch wheels, respectively.

The interior features an elegant beige finish, reminiscent of earlier special editions like the NB from the 2000s and the M-Edition from the 90s. Small details such as the embroidered 35th anniversary logo on the headrests and color accents inside reinforce the model’s exclusivity.

Unlike previous editions, such as the 30th anniversary which focused on performance with Recaro seats, Brembo brakes, and Bilstein dampers, this new edition seems to prioritize comfort.

Additionally, production will not be limited to a specific number of units but rather to the availability period, with each car being individually numbered. This will allow all interested buyers to purchase the vehicle during the production period, as explained by Miata Program Manager, Shigeki Saito.

Even with the release of the 35th-anniversary edition, Mazda reaffirmed that the fourth-generation Miata, the ND, still has life left in it, even after a decade on the market. Furthermore, earlier this year, the brand introduced a more track-focused RS version, with improvements to the suspension and aerodynamics, suggesting more special editions may come in the future.
