The 82nd Airborne Brigade Bukovyna from Ukraine announced that it now has M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, sent by the United States.
The unit highlighted that the armored vehicles have been essential in protecting soldiers on the front lines, enabling them to go through extreme situations and ensuring that more soldiers return alive.
According to the paratroopers, the Bradley stands out for its resistance to intense attacks such as artillery fire, mines, explosive drones, and even anti-tank missiles. Additionally, the American armored vehicle offers significant offensive capability, thanks to its 25mm Bushmaster cannon, capable of destroying Russian vehicles quickly and accurately.
The equipment arrived in the country as part of the military aid package provided by Washington. The U.S. government also approved a future sale of more units, including maintenance, valued at approximately 150 million dollars.
Ukrainian forces are now able to carry out repairs and technical support on the vehicles, enhancing their autonomy in using the Bradley on the battlefield.
