The luxury car of Brazilian influencer Artur Buarque, better known online as Galeroso, was completely destroyed after skidding on a wet road and knocking down a pole.
The incident happened on the afternoon of last Wednesday (23) in Olinda, Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil. Footage of the accident was shared by the influencer himself on social media.
In the video, it’s possible to see that the driver of the BMW M2, valued at over US$60,000, lost control of the vehicle after making an overtake. Since the road was wet, the car spun out and crashed hard into a pole.
An employee of the influencer was accompanied by a friend at the time of the crash. Both sustained minor injuries. The BMW was completely destroyed and, to make matters worse, was not insured.
“I just received the worst phone call of my life. The worst of all. I never imagined someone would call me saying that,” lamented Galeroso on social media.
“I didn’t even drive the car, family. Why would someone insure a car they don’t drive? I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. […] The urge to cry is inevitable.”
