According to the ministry, the maneuvers were conducted by the Teikovsky missile formation, where Strategic Missile Forces personnel performed complex exercises and intensive maneuver operations on combat patrol routes.
The crews of the Yars mobile land-based missile systems were seen moving up to 100 kilometers, dispersing units and changing their positions in the field with the support of engineering equipment. Additionally, the units also implemented camouflage and security techniques while practicing defense against sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
These exercises are part of planned combat training aimed at enhancing the formation and coordination of the Strategic Missile Forces.
The Yars missile system, first tested in May 2007, has a range of 11,000 to 12,000 kilometers and can carry between six and ten nuclear warheads, with a yield of 100 to 300 kilotons, according to media reports.
