Customers at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Falmouth, Cornwall, were surprised to witness an unusual accident in the parking lot: a Land Rover reversed, collided with another vehicle, and ended up placing one car on top of a silver Beetle.
The scene caught attention on social media, with some comparing it to a piece of modern art or a collapsed game of Jenga.
Despite the impact, no one was injured. Two people were in one of the vehicles involved but managed to get out unharmed. The drivers exchanged insurance information on site, and the cars were later removed.
The supermarket management cordoned off part of the parking lot for a few hours while emergency services responded to the incident. A Sainsbury’s spokesperson expressed regret over the inconvenience and thanked customers for their understanding.
