Lamborghini has launched a plug-in hybrid version of its popular high-performance SUV, the Urus SE 2025.
This new model combines a 4.0-liter V-8 twin-turbo engine with a 189 horsepower electric motor, resulting in a combined output of 789 horsepower. This configuration enables the Urus SE to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, making it 0.1 seconds faster than the standard Urus S, but slightly slower than the Urus Performante.
The Urus SE also features a fully electric mode, thanks to a battery with a usable capacity of 21.8 kWh, located under the vehicle’s floor. This setup provides a range of approximately 48 km in electric mode and a top speed of about 130 km/h, a notable difference compared to the SUV’s total top speed of 312 km/h.
In addition to the hybrid system, Lamborghini has made some changes to the design of the Urus SE. The front has been slightly modified, inspired by the new sports car Revuelto, while the rear received a new spoiler and a redesigned diffuser to improve downforce by 35% compared to the standard Urus S.
The vehicle’s interior now features a larger 12.3-inch screen with Lamborghini’s latest digital interface, along with new color options and 23-inch wheels. The price of the Urus SE is expected to start at around $275,000 upon release.
