After establishing itself under Audi’s corporate umbrella, Lamborghini seems more willing to take risks and release some more “wild” models.
This was revealed by Federico Foschini, Head of Sales and Marketing at Lamborghini, in a conversation with Autocar. In the interview, he suggested derivatives of the Revuelto, possibly including an off-road version similar to the Sterrato.
The Urus already received an off-road redesign with the robust ST-X, but it never reached production. Of Lamborghini’s three current models, the Urus remains the most logical candidate for a special edition.

In his statement, Foschini noted that there is a clear demand for bold projects like the Sterrato, and Lamborghini seems interested in taking advantage of this. “We are always looking for crazy things in every dimension,” he said.
According to him, the “sky is the limit” when it comes to reinventing their vehicles. “From the brand’s perspective, [these models] are giving you huge opportunities,” Foschini explained.
“I think we haven’t even fully leveraged the opportunity, because you can do a lot with the Sterrato; and I believe in the future, we will definitely be able to introduce this opportunity at some specific point.”
