KTM has unveiled its 2027 SX motocross lineup, made up of nine models aimed at everyone from young riders taking their first steps to high-performance competitors. The new range arrives with an updated look, a competition focus and track-derived components.

The 2027 KTM SX family maintains its proposal of offering a broad motocross lineup, with motorcycles of different engine sizes and configurations. According to the manufacturer, the models were developed to serve riders of various ages, experience levels and goals within off-road riding.

Among the options for young riders are the KTM 50 SX, KTM 65 SX and KTM 85 SX minicycles. The full-size lineup includes two-stroke and four-stroke models: KTM 125 SX, KTM 250 SX, KTM 300 SX, KTM 250 SX-F, KTM 350 SX-F and KTM 450 SX-F.

New look for the 2027 lineup

The main visual change for the 2027 lineup is the new color and graphics combination. KTM has reinforced the brand’s traditional orange and added red details on the tank spoilers, aiming to increase the bikes’ visual presence on the track.
The graphics are applied using an in-mold process, a solution that improves resistance to wear during use in harsh conditions, which are common in motocross.

According to KTM, the 2027 SX models use a hydroformed steel frame, laser-cut and robot-welded. The structure was developed to balance response, stability, flexibility and weight, taking into account the demands of different motorcycle categories and sizes.
The lineup also features compact, high-performance engines, including electronic fuel injection technology on the two-stroke models as well. The manufacturer says the powertrains were tuned to deliver high torque and power while complying with the latest FIM noise limits.
Components present across the lineup include WP XACT suspension, Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires, Excel rims with CNC-machined hubs, Brembo brake and clutch systems, NEKEN handlebars, ODI lock-on grips, Pankl gearboxes and Keihin throttle bodies.

Lineup keeps two-stroke models

KTM also highlights the continued presence of the KTM 300 SX in the range, a model that represents the combination of a two-stroke engine and updated technology. The proposal is to offer a motorcycle with a strong power-to-weight ratio, aimed at riders seeking intense motocross performance.
The manufacturer links the development of the SX lineup to experience accumulated in international competitions, including categories such as MXGP, MX2, AMA SuperMotocross, European and national championships, and amateur events.

Arrival at dealerships

The new KTM SX 2027, SX-F 2027 and the brand’s minicycles will begin arriving at authorized KTM dealerships from the end of May 2026. Availability may vary by country.
In some markets, the off-road models will be covered by KTM’s new Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty, which offers 12 months of coverage against defects in parts or manufacturing, provided that service checks and maintenance intervals are carried out at authorized dealerships.
