Smart, known for its tiny cars, has announced the production of the #5, a mid-sized SUV that will be the largest vehicle ever made by the company.

Following its launch in China, the #5 will arrive in Europe in early 2025. With a boxy shape, rounded at the corners like a Mercedes GLB, Smart’s new SUV features exclusive headlights and taillights that extend across the entire width of the vehicle.

Compared to existing cars, Smart has further increased interior comfort by introducing highly adjustable front seats, offering various reclining angles. Inside, there is also a dual display with two 13-inch AMOLED screens.

As for performance, specifications for the European model have not yet been confirmed, but it is known that the #5 will come with a 100 kWh battery, with an estimated range of around 730 km. Driving modes are also available, including new off-road modes.
