The Jeep Wrangler with a V-8 engine is back for 2026. The brand has just announced that it will bring a special limited edition for fans of the powerful vehicle.

At the beginning of 2025, Jeep had already announced that the Wrangler V-8 would stay alive for at least another year, which made fans quite excited. Now, the manufacturer has announced the Wrangler Moab 392 for 2026.

The SUV comes equipped with 17-inch wheels with a beadlock system, a 4.56 axle ratio, and a full-time Selec-Track transfer case with a 2.72:1 ratio, as well as a dual-mode exhaust system and a cold-air intake with a water separator.

The 6.4-liter V-8 engine continues to produce the same 470 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque as before, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

On the outside, the 2026 Moab 392 features a body-color hardtop, rock rails, body-color fender flares, and black tow hooks.

And inside, it offers heated seats upholstered in black Nappa leather, a premium Alpine sound system, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display.

You can still opt for additional equipment, such as a Sky One-Touch power sunroof, a 3.6-ton WARN winch, and all-weather rubber floor mats.

The model in the photo features the new dark purple Reign color, one of several new limited-edition exterior colors. Other options include Goldilocks, Joose, Earl Grey, and Tuscadero.

The 392, like all new Wranglers, will feature the Jeep brand’s new “enhanced door hinge system,” designed to speed up the door-removal process.

The limited-edition Wrangler will have a starting price of $81,990 (including the $1,995 destination fee). That is $20,000 cheaper than the 2025 Wrangler 392, which had a starting price of $101,990.

Orders are now open, and production is expected to begin in the coming months. The Moab 329 is the first of 12 limited-edition Wranglers that Jeep is launching to begin the brand’s 85th-anniversary celebrations.

“Our community made their voices heard, and we listened. The 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine will continue to be a defining force in the Jeep lineup,” said Bob Broderdorf, CEO of Jeep.
