Israeli company Axon Vision has unveiled ForceField, a new counter-drone defense system developed to protect forces on the move, armored vehicles, and military positions against aerial threats, including fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones.
According to the company, the technology uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence (EDGE AI) to detect, analyze, and respond to attacks in real time.

The system was created to address one of the main challenges in current conflicts: fiber-optic-guided FPV drones, which do not rely on radio signals and therefore cannot be neutralized by traditional electronic warfare systems.
Because these drones remain connected to their operator through a fiber-optic cable, frequency jammers cannot disrupt their control, requiring new methods of detection and interception.
ForceField combines passive detection sensors with artificial intelligence algorithms capable of identifying and classifying threats, following the operational cycle defined by the company as “Detect, Understand, and Respond.”

After the target is identified, the system uses supervised human control (“Man-on-the-Loop”) and an integrated kinetic response to neutralize the drone.
According to Axon Vision, the system can operate during the day and at night without emitting signals that could reveal the position of the protected unit.

The solution was also designed to be installed on different military platforms without major changes to their internal systems and uses conventional ammunition and weapons, avoiding the need for dedicated interceptors.
The company stated that the development of ForceField was completed after a series of live-fire tests in scenarios simulating operational conditions, during which the system demonstrated the ability to detect, track, and neutralize FPV drones in real time.
The technology is part of Axon Vision’s strategy to expand its presence in the defense market, transitioning from a supplier of artificial intelligence solutions for components to a developer of complete combat systems.
“ForceField is the result of years of investment in the development of operational EDGE AI technologies,” said Neri Zin, CEO of Axon Vision.
“We believe this solution marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Axon Vision, from a company providing EDGE AI capabilities to system manufacturers and defense programs to one that develops and markets complete operational solutions built on the same core technologies.”

“This step expands our product portfolio, strengthens our position in the defense market, and opens up new opportunities in a global market with substantial growth potential,” Zin added.
