The Israeli military equipment company Robotican has introduced a combat version of the ROOSTER drone designed for use in urban areas.

The updated modification combines reconnaissance and targeted destruction functions in enclosed spaces, according to a report by Defense Blog.

The drone is equipped with a munition of up to 300 grams, allowing for the integration of additional equipment tailored to a specific mission.

The ROOSTER features a hybrid design, offering the ability to move both on the ground and in the air. This allows the drone to access hard-to-reach areas and perform tasks with minimal risk to the operator.

Additionally, the drone’s control system is equipped with artificial intelligence, ensuring target detection, tracking, and locking.

The company also integrated a multi-level safety system that prevents accidental launches and ensures the protection of allies during operations.

“With the armed ROOSTER, we offer precision and autonomy in environments that were previously inaccessible to barrage munitions,” said Hagai Balshai, CEO of Robotican.

“Military forces can now carry out surgical strikes inside structures with a compact and intelligent platform that minimizes risks to operators and civilians.”
