The impressive video showing a man riding a motorcycle over the waters of a river in Brazil is leaving internet users completely amazed.
The footage was recorded on a stretch of the Xingu River, located in the south of the state of Pará, northern Brazil. In the clip, it is possible to see motocross rider Wenderson Fernandes driving his Kawasaki 450 over the waters.
He started on the sand, giving a strong acceleration before entering the river. Once over the waters, he kept his balance while crossing more than 1.2 km of the river at high speed until finally reaching the opposite bank.
But to achieve this impressive feat, it is worth noting that he did not use an ordinary motorcycle. On his social media, Fernandes explained that his bike was specially modified for surfing.
He placed a kind of board on the sides of both tires. In addition, the rear tire was replaced with a model that has grooves forming a type of paddle, which provides enough traction to ride over the waters without sinking.
Before succeeding, Fernandes did several tests. He bought two motorcycles before this one and made several different modifications. According to him, he sank eight times before managing to cross the river.
