The Hyundai is set to launch the Inster Cross, a version of its urban electric car Inster, featuring a design inspired by off-road vehicles.

This new model promises to combine versatility with a robust appearance, while maintaining the spacious interior and cargo capacity of the standard Inster. New features include rectangular bumpers, embossed upholstery, protective plates, and roof racks, along with a color palette that includes an exclusive matte green option.

The interior of the Inster Cross presents a significant update with gray upholstery and lime-yellow details on the dashboard, allowing all four seats to fold down and offering a pass-through cabin.

Mechanically, the model remains unchanged and offers two options for electric powertrains. The base version has 96 hp and a range of 299 km, while the Long-Range version reaches 113 hp and a range of 355 km.

The Inster Cross can be charged from 10 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes using a 120 kW DC charger. Additionally, it features advanced driver assistance systems, such as “Highway Driving Assist 1.5,” which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance.

Production of the model is scheduled to begin later this year at Hyundai’s factory in Korea.
