The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N 2025 has been launched in South Korea with new features, including “Downshift Memory” and “Downhill Assist,” allowing for gear shifts even in Eco mode.

The model features automatic high beams with glare reduction and a Lock When Leaving system that automatically locks the doors when the driver walks away from the vehicle. These updates mainly focus on software improvements to enhance the driving experience, without significant changes to the design.

One of the key new features is the “N Drift Optimizer,” which now offers 10 levels of assistance, allowing the vehicle to slide more freely while minimizing stability control intervention.

The system has been enhanced to detect ideal drift conditions, which Hyundai recommends using only on racetracks. The “Downshift Memory” function has also been improved, enabling the car to store commands for gear changes when it reaches the allowed RPMs.

Additionally, the artificial engine sound is automatically activated during the launch control function, mimicking the sound of a turbocharged gasoline engine.

The Ioniq 5 N 2025 is priced at approximately $57,600 in Korea, and Hyundai is working on its corresponding sedan model, the Ioniq 6 N.
