The Hyundai Ioniq 5 2025 has been updated with a renewed design, new features, and an off-road XRT version.

Key design changes include redesigned bumpers, a new rear spoiler, wheels with improved aerodynamics, and the addition of a rear windshield wiper.

The XRT version raises the Ioniq 5 by nearly an inch, offering all-terrain tires, improved approach and departure angles, and a more rugged look with exclusive details. The cabin has also been reorganized, bringing enhanced climate controls, larger 12.3-inch screens with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more physical buttons for frequently used functions.

In addition to the design changes, the Ioniq 5 2025 received larger capacity batteries, increasing the range across all versions. The Standard Range battery increases from 58.0 to 63.0 kWh, while the Long Range battery grows from 77.4 to 84.0 kWh, resulting in a range of nearly 500 kilometers for the rear-wheel-drive model.

Another major update is the adoption of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing access to the Tesla Supercharger network without an adapter. Starting in late 2024, all new Hyundai EVs will feature this NACS port.

The Ioniq 5 also introduces new safety features, such as enhanced parking assistance systems and adaptive cruise control.

This update to the Ioniq 5 is the first to be assembled at Hyundai’s new factory in Georgia, allowing the model to qualify for federal tax incentives. The Ioniq 5 2025 and its XRT version will be available at dealerships in the fall.
