These new models, including the Ye P7 and Ye S7, feature a newly developed EV platform with options for single-motor rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive.

The company emphasizes that RWD models will offer a sporty driving experience, while AWD ones will be aimed at increased power and responsive handling.

Additionally, Honda plans to release future models based on the Ye GT concept, promising an enhanced driving experience and being the first Honda vehicle to feature a large screen for the front passenger.

Honda’s new Ye P7 and Ye S7 models will be available for purchase in China by the end of 2024, while vehicles based on the Ye GT concept are scheduled to arrive at Chinese dealerships by the end of 2025. Honda has ambitious plans for the Chinese market, intending to launch 10 new EVs by 2027, with six of them being from the Ye series.

These launches are part of the automaker’s strategy to transition to a fully electric vehicle lineup in China by 2035, demonstrating its commitment to electrification and innovation in the automotive sector.
