A Honda owner posted an alert after discovering that thieves had broken the driver’s side window of her car to steal the steering wheel airbag.

Indigo Lee shared a video on her TikTok profile to talk about the issue after waking up and discovering that her car had been targeted by thieves.

As she approached her Honda, which was parked outside, she saw that the driver’s side window had been broken and the airbag inside the steering wheel had been stolen.

“Public service announcement for all Honda owners. Apparently, they’re finding new things to steal. This is my car, they tried to steal the airbag,” Indigo explained in the clip.

And this isn’t the first time Indigo has been targeted by car thieves. Last year, she said someone had tried to steal her Kia, a vehicle that has become a popular target due to Kias lacking an effective anti-theft feature, making them easier to steal.

To combat this, Indigo decided to buy a Honda. Unfortunately, the thieves found something else to steal, as airbags are highly valuable on the black market. According to her, the police suggested she use a steering wheel lock on her Honda to prevent future thefts.

“I’m just warning you all. Stay alert,” she added. Indigo explained that she will have to pay $250 to repair her car and that her insurance will cover the rest. In the end, she advised other internet users to apply dark tint to avoid becoming victims of similar thefts.

“They’re doing everything except getting a job. It’s scary out here,” one internet user commented. “People are so weird, ruining things that others bought with their own hard-earned money,” lamented another. “At this point, I’ll just walk,” joked a third.
