Honda has officially unveiled in Japan the “N-One e:”, its new bet in the urban electric car segment.

With a retro look and compact proportions, the model arrives as a practical and charming alternative for big city traffic, being considered the spiritual successor of the “Honda e”. Inspired by the Super EV concept presented at Goodwood 2025, the “N-One e:” debuts in August in the Japanese market and is already attracting international interest, with a possible arrival in Europe between 2025 and 2026.

Despite its style reminiscent of traditional kei cars, the “N-One e:” may be slightly larger than the category standards, measuring approximately 3.9 meters in length. The design preserves rounded elements, circular LED headlights, and a body with smooth lines, enhancing its emotional appeal.

The model’s announced range is up to 270 km on the WLTC cycle, suitable for urban use, and it is expected to comply with the 64-horsepower limit imposed on compact cars in Japan.

Among its technical highlights, the EV offers support for bidirectional charging, with the capability to supply power to external equipment (V2L) or even homes (V2H). There are two charging ports positioned at the front—one for fast charging and another for AC charging.

Additionally, the model offers one-pedal driving functionality, rear seats with a modular folding system, and creative storage solutions.

The interior reflects a minimalist and sustainable approach, using recycled plastics and repurposed fabrics, including materials from Honda’s own uniforms. Going against the trend of large screens, the base version of the “N-One e:” does not feature a multimedia center, relying on physical buttons for essential controls. More advanced versions will have a nine-inch display.

Pre-orders in Japan start on August 1st, with deliveries scheduled for the local fall.
