Hennessey has unveiled the Venom F5 Evolution, considered the most powerful combustion car ever produced, with an impressive 2,059 hp and 199.7 kgfm of torque.

The 6.6 V8 biturbo engine received several upgrades, such as oval pistons, titanium valves, and next-generation turbos, increasing the power output by 214 hp compared to the standard model. According to CEO John Hennessey, the evolution came in response to customer requests for even more performance.

To handle all this power, the supercar’s aerodynamics were enhanced with the help of Mark Handford, an expert in competitions like F1 and IndyCar. The car gained new features such as a front splitter, air deflectors, and a Gurney flap spoiler, ensuring greater stability at high speeds. The result is an acceleration from 0 to 322 km/h in just 10.3 seconds, rivaling vehicles built for drag racing.

The Evolution package starts at $285,000, with optional extras including sport seats, a smoother exhaust system, and adaptive suspension with six driving modes, including Road, Race, and F1.

The F5 Evolution shows that there is still room for combustion engines in the world of supercars, even amid the growing electrification of the sector.
