A man who became known as a “Ferrari ghost driver” for evading authorities for six consecutive years was finally arrested in the Czech Republic.
The Ferrari driver, who was frequently seen speeding at high speeds, was followed by police to a property in the village of Bulk, 60 kilometers from Prague.
At the wheel, authorities found and arrested a 51-year-old man, the Czech police reported in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The distinctive car, driven by an individual wearing full racing gear, had been evading traffic authorities since 2019.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, eventually agreed to be taken to the police station for questioning and was brought there in his full racing uniform.
“He refused to comment on the entire situation when giving explanations. The police will forward the entire case for an administrative process,” the officers wrote.
