Residents of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland discovered a Gerbera decoy drone while working in an agricultural field.

According to preliminary information released by the Polish newspaper Dziennik, the drone found last Tuesday (30) was not carrying explosives or warheads and did not pose an immediate threat.

This recent discovery marks the 20th Russian drone found on Polish territory. However, given the potential risks associated with drone use in border areas, local police and military authorities are conducting a full investigation.

“On Tuesday, around 3 p.m., the Działdowo police received a report that a combine harvester operator had discovered an object resembling a drone while working in a field in the commune of Płośnica,” said the police statement.

It is worth noting that there were no reports of aerial objects violating Polish airspace on September 30, suggesting that the drones may have entered the country during the drone attack on Ukraine on September 10.
