The Ukrainian company General Cherry topped the ranking of Russian drone interceptions in March 2026, standing out among domestic manufacturers.
According to data released by Defense Forces units, the company’s systems recorded 11,473 kills during the period, a significant increase of 5,800 compared to the previous month, securing the best performance among available systems.
The improvement was also driven by the growing use of enemy drones on the battlefield. Attack models of the Molniya type saw a significant rise in losses, with the number of destroyed units tripling compared to the previous period. In some sections of the front line, between 30 and 50 daily attacks by this type of unmanned aircraft were recorded.
Another highlight was the increase in the downing of reconnaissance drones known as “Prince Oleg the Prophet,” which recorded a fourfold rise in losses. By the end of March, this model had become the second most used in surveillance missions, behind only the ZALA drone family.
To sustain this performance, General Cherry developed a diversified line of interceptor drones. These include models capable of reaching high speeds and operating in different scenarios, including specific versions designed to neutralize Shahed-type drones. These systems combine up to 35 minutes of endurance, a range of up to 24 km, and the ability to engage targets quickly, reinforcing the efficiency of air defense against unmanned threats.
