The French Armed Forces have begun testing robot dogs together with regular dogs in exercises.
According to information from the Ukrainian portal Militarnyi, the four-legged unmanned ground robot Vision 60, from Ghost Robotics, was chosen for the exercise.
During the tests, the quadrupedal robot from Ghost Robotics overcame stairs, fences, narrow passages, and uneven terrain.
The Vision 60 robot dog supports a wide range of customizable payloads, ensuring excellent adaptability to different missions.
In the military field, it is capable of detecting explosive devices and conducting radiological, chemical, and biological reconnaissance.
“On one hand, we have a German Shepherd from the 132nd canine infantry regiment: trained, loyal, and ready for combat. On the other hand, a robot dog. Two different profiles serving the same mission,” the French military say.
