Pirelli has launched modern tires for the Ferrari GTO, which went out of production nearly 40 years ago. The new set, called Cinturato P7, was developed specifically for this rare supercar, with only 272 units produced between 1984 and 1987.

The tire maintains the original dimensions: 225/50 R16 in the front and 265/50 R16 in the rear, providing an authentic look for the era.

The Cinturato P7 was initially created for WRC rally cars in 1974 and became Pirelli’s first ultra-low tire to be used on road-legal models.

In an interview, Emanuelle Vanzetti, an engineer at Pirelli, highlighted that the new tires stay true to the original aesthetics of the GTO while respecting its handling and driving style.

In addition to the GTO, Pirelli also offers dedicated tires for other Ferrari models, such as the F40, F50, and Enzo, each with its own specifications. There are expectations for a new Ferrari supercar, internally known as the “F250,” to be launched soon, featuring a hybrid V-6 engine, competing with models like the McLaren W1 and a possible production version of the Porsche Mission X.
