The Hollywood star, globally known for his role in the “Star Wars” saga, returns in another epic journey across 15 countries, exploring unique cultures and landscapes

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for *Long Way Home*, the new chapter of the documentary series that follows Ewan McGregor and his partner Charley Boorman on their global motorcycle expeditions.

Set to premiere on May 9, this is the fourth adventure in the *Long Way* franchise, which already includes the titles *Long Way Round*, *Long Way Down*, and *Long Way Up*, all available on the platform.

This time, McGregor and Boorman depart from Scotland, McGregor’s home country, heading toward England, where Boorman was born. However, instead of taking the direct route, the duo opts for an alternative — and much longer — path. The journey begins by crossing the North Sea into Scandinavia, reaching the Arctic Circle before heading back down through mainland Europe.

For about two months, they travel through 15 countries, experiencing different cultures, landscapes, and challenges, all while riding their motorcycles. The series, which began on British television, is executive produced by McGregor and Boorman, along with David Alexanian and Russ Malkin. The latter also directs the new season.
