EarthRoamer has just unveiled its two new off-road camping vehicles, the SX 2.0, based on a Chevrolet, and an updated Ford LTx.

With 43-inch wheels and off-road suspension, the highlight of the new trucks is the unprecedented 24-volt electrical system, featuring new wiring that allows faster charging of a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery for the SX and 18 kWh for the LTx.

They also feature a 9,000-watt inverter, tripling the power compared to the previous trailer, and to charge the battery more quickly, up to 1,800 watts of solar panel capacity. The alternator is also slightly larger than the previous model.

Inside, both models feature a new L-shaped dining area that converts into a bed, a bunk bed, upgraded bathrooms, and a built-in Invisacook cooktop under the countertop.

The new trucks also feature larger refrigerators, storage compartments, and a hanging TV to provide more comfort in the living spaces.

The LTx, which is an updated version of the EarthRoamer based on the Ford F-550 unveiled at last year’s SEMA, is equipped with a 6.7-liter turbocharged Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Its starting price is $825,000.

The SX 2.0, on the other hand, features a carbon fiber body and is large enough to accommodate a very big family. Based on a Chevrolet 6500HD, it is equipped with a 6.6-liter Duramax V-8 turbo engine with a six-speed Allison transmission. Its starting price is $1.09 million.
