A girl was trapped inside a car in Palm Coast, Florida, and a police officer broke the vehicle’s window to rescue the child on Tuesday (21) in a dramatic video.

Dramatic video shows a girl trapped inside a car with temperatures of 38°C and being rescued by a police officer, who had to break the window to save the child. The incident occurred in Palm Coast, Florida, on Tuesday (21).
The girl was trapped in the car for 10 minutes, and the video released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office shows an officer breaking the window to rescue the girl. Firefighters reported that the child was sweating and distressed after the rescue. She is doing well.
A woman who was with the girl said the car was locked with the keys inside. It is unknown if this woman is the child’s mother. She protested against the officer who suggested breaking the window.
“Thanks to the quick response of our deputies, this girl was safely rescued, and a tragic incident was avoided,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. He also warned about the risks of leaving children inside cars in high temperatures.
