GMC has announced a new Yukon for 2025, with subtle exterior changes, significant updates to the interior, and a bit more power in the diesel engine.

The 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine in the Yukon has been revised to produce more power. While its predecessor generated 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, the updated Duramax will produce 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque.

While the exterior changes are subtle, the differences become more noticeable inside. Starting with the new 16.8-inch portrait-oriented central touchscreen.

If that’s not enough for you, an optional 8.0-inch landscape screen for second-row passengers is available for climate controls.

However, despite the ultra-modern screens, the Yukon will not come with new technologies to accompany them. But you will find more standard driver assistance systems, such as rear braking in cross traffic, side alert for cyclists, forward braking for pedestrians and cyclists, and automatic emergency braking at intersections.

The 2025 GMC Yukon is scheduled to hit dealerships later this year. As for the prices, the company says that pricing will be announced closer to the date, and it is safe to expect that the new model will cost a few thousand dollars more than its predecessor.
