Denmark has signed a contract with Finnish manufacturer Patria for the acquisition of 129 Patria 6×6 armored vehicles intended for troop transport.
The first units are expected to be delivered later this year, allowing the Danish Army to begin training with the new models. However, most of the vehicles will be deployed to military bases starting in 2026.

The armored vehicles will be integrated into the new infantry battalion and heavy brigade units of the Danish Armed Forces. Versatile, the vehicles can be adapted for various roles such as command and communications, medical evacuation, and electronic warfare, supporting both infantry and engineering units.
The purchase is part of Denmark’s participation in the multinational CAVS (Common Armored Vehicle System) program, which the country joined in 2025.
With this new order, valued at approximately USD 275 million, Patria reaches nearly one thousand units ordered under the program, with more than 200 already delivered.
