Denmark is considering the possibility of opening production facilities of the Ukrainian company Skyfall in the country, revealed Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
According to the portal Militarnyi, this information was shared on the website of the Danish Ministry of Defence. If the plan is successful, Denmark would continue its consistent support for Ukraine while strengthening cooperation both between governments and within the defence industry.
“We are now initiating negotiations with the Ukrainian company Skyfall on establishing production in Denmark. Bringing strong Ukrainian defence companies to Denmark in cooperation with Danish industry will strengthen the security of both Denmark and Ukraine,” said Poulsen.
“Skyfall is a company with an impressive product portfolio that can provide strategically important production and supply on Danish soil — both for Ukraine and for Denmark,” said Per Hjølm Olsen, Director of the Danish Ministry of Defence’s Materiel and Procurement Agency.
It was also recently reported that Denmark is investing €33 million in a joint infrastructure project to modernize one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers. The funding will be used to improve living and sanitary conditions and to purchase equipment and drones for military training.
