A video shows a convoy of cars with cut-off roofs causing disruptions that ended in confusion on a highway in Brazil.

On Sunday (9), Brazilian police came across a convoy of about 150 vintage cars in poor condition causing disruptions on a highway. The vehicles were detained by authorities.

Videos that went viral on social media show the vintage cars being driven dangerously by drivers carrying passengers without seat belts at speeds of 120 km/h.

The vehicles had several modifications, primarily the removal of the car roofs, turning them into improvised convertibles.

One of the event participants told Brazilian portal Uol that “the idea was to stay as organized as possible.” “Everyone in the corner and at a time chosen for less vehicle flow,” they concluded.

The participant also mentioned that some of the vintage car drivers did drive recklessly.

Due to the violations, dozens of vehicles were seized. Among the infractions, there were driving without any identification plates, driving without specific equipment, and driving a vehicle in poor condition.
