A video shared on social media showed the concerning scene, eliciting negative reactions from viewers online.

This incident raises safety concerns as pointing lasers at aircraft is considered a federal offense in the United States and can result in substantial fines. In other countries such as the United Kingdom, there are also strict laws against the misuse of lasers, especially due to the danger they pose to pilots and air traffic controllers.

Tultepec, known as the Mexican capital of pyrotechnics, has a history of fireworks-related explosions, and the festival has previously been marked by similar tragedies.
