China has recently launched its fourth Type 075 amphibious assault ship, one of the main ships used in a possible invasion of Taiwan.

The Type 075 amphibious assault ship is a class of amphibious assault ships developed by China.
This class of ships is significant as one of the largest and most advanced in the fleet of the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN).

The Type 075 is designed to play a crucial role in amphibious operations, offering the capability to transport troops, vehicles, and equipment, in addition to supporting landing operations and helicopters.

A launching ceremony for the ship was held at the Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard in Shanghai on Thursday, reported the Russian news agency Sputnik this Saturday.

The event marked the completion of the main construction, as the ship was moved out of the dry dock and placed on the equipment wharf for the remaining work, Sputnik said.
